Added 2025-10-07 22:19:51 +0000 UTCwanted to do some casual ink sketches in the spirit of inktober! and because it's October what better to draw than a couple witches? it's been so long since I've done a full inktober and honestly, I doubt I will ever again. so mini sketches it is. :D I've written about why I like drawing in pen here and here. I always learn something interesting about how I like to draw when I use pen and consider it an indispensable tool for both intentionality and finding surprise in art. lately, I've been encouraging myself to focus on making art and less on thinking about making art. things always change once you actually start doing something and I want to be open to those changes, to see them as a natural part of any process in art, in life.
