pov ur my gouache paints when I open you up againI'm always finding my way back to gouache. the process of mixing the paints and layering the colors feels so intuitive and enjoyable and my recent major upgrade in my paint water filtering setup (aka I bought a funnel) has made it so much easier for me to cleanup and get back to painting the next day. like I recently mentioned, I've been paying a lot more attention to shapes lately and have found a lot of curious excitement in abstracting forms. I also took time to learn how to mix neutrals (yay for follow through) and have been getting a bunch more mileage out of my paints. couldn't have done it without the color wheel, huge shoutout to the real one from day one:
everyone say thank you to herso yeah, lotsa fun in the studio and all I wanna do is keep painting so...that's what I'm gonna do. :]<3
