This episode is also more Crush torture chamber happening, the lore drop from Crush's past got dropped last week was exactly foreshadowing for the flashback for this episode! I'm sure people who really paid attention in the beginning of season 3, there was this ONE panel that never gets mentioned but if anyone still rmbr, here's ur payoff!! I hope u liked it!!

Cherry Crush has many themes and one of them is.. forgiveness and redemption!! Crush has never experienced abandonment (bc hes the one that does it) bc of his social apathy, so when he realized he was in fact, abandoned by his mother, he had to talk to the only person who's THE MOST experienced in being abandoned , his bf sdfkjnsdjfkn the conversation between Crush and Cherie about Colie is something I've thought about for a long time, just for the way Colie mirrors both Crush and Cherie in this situation, and I love writing parallels... i cannae help it...

Since the beginning of the episode is very heavy, I wanted to end it on a lighter note! Whenever an episode gets too crazy I always try to add some humour into it (the scene where Cherie and Crush are scared of Colie outside of the motel parallels how kids act when theyre trouble) The ending of this ep is of course another payoff ^w^... Kang and Mashiro cameo soon! AND ITS NOT FOR FAN SERVICE I PROMISEEE I HAD THEM IN MIND WHEN I WROTE SEASON 3 CLIMAX OKDKJFGNDJKN.... I think a couple months back, someone sent in a patreon request that was like "Can you draw Kang throwing Mashiro? He looks throwable" and I haven't stopped thinking about it since, it's literally such a Kang thing to say dat I decided to put it in the official webtoon im sorry HE IS THROWABLE...
