omg drawing these was such a blast to the past for me. I had one of the books as a kid and loved poring over the artwork in the included comics. I always thought the girls' styles were so cute, especially their transformation fits. the desire to become a fairy girl truly never dies...I can really see how this series influenced the drawings I would make down the line, so interesting to trace how interests in childhood show up in present day.

2024-11-13 06:23:38 +0000 UTComggg these are so lovely as always!! i also loved w.i.t.c.h. as a kid and cornelia was my fav!! also not to yap but i’ve actually been thinking about this series a lot lately bc i went to china last month where i started a blind box addiction lol and the feeling of opening a blind box reminds me of opening happy meals as a kid, which in turn led me to remember that w.i.t.c.h. actually had a collab with mcdonald’s one year and i got lucky and got my girl cornelia 😌😌 but there was another younger little girl nearby who wanted her but didn’t get her and she cried so hard her dad eventually asked the employees if they could switch to cornelia and i’m pretty sure they acquiesced haha
