Thank you all so much for your feedback on the memo pad poll, it was incredibly helpful to get a read on everyone's interest (131 total votes, so cool)! I chose to work on two designs to start with. I plan on doing the other popular designs in the future as well. The capybara design came in 2nd and the NewJeans design came in 7th, but I'm making it anyway because I want it....👀🥰

I think they both came out super cute and I hope you like them, too! I included the first drafts in the slideshow to show how I plan things out and how designs change as they get worked on. What seems like a good idea in the beginning, may turn out to be ill-suited to the design as it evolves; eg: the draft of NewJeans included a lot of bright saturated colors that are fine on a screen, but typically don't print well when translated to CMYK. At first, I was frustrated I couldn't go with my original color choices, but after playing with the saturation was pleased to find that the pastel versions work nicely as well. ^^

I plan on starting the manufacturing process for these this week, which is exciting! I'll let the designs simmer for a couple days to see if they need any changes, but for the most part they're very close to done.

I'm happy to be designing memo pads again and want to keep branching out to merch other than prints. I've seen a lot of tiktoks on keychain making that have me very curious and interested. I've also been getting into kpop photocard decorating and would love to make my own photocards. Many ideas. Only one me. Reminding myself to take things one at a time. xD
