NEW ART! // girlz in space? it's more likely than you'd think!

Hello loves! ヾ（*⌒ヮ⌒*）ゞ

I'm so excited to share this art dump with you because I feel like it's been a moment since I created new finished work outside of my monthly postcards and stickers. I went back through the sketches from earlier this year and was particularly drawn to a series I had done on space girls. I was apprehensive to tackle them for awhile since I didn't feel like I could do them justice, but I took the plunge and polished them up! :D It's been so fun revisiting these pieces months later cos I've learned a lot since and got to inject new life into them. >:)

The above pieces are all part of the same series. I really wanted to explore my love for space and depict girls as magical and celestial beings! I listened to a lot of ODESZA while working on these and I think it was perfect for helping me create a dramatic and otherworldly feel. Also tried out some new blur filters in Photoshop to help add depth and movement. *u* Some of my favorite filters to use are gaussian, motion, and lens. 

A fun lil experiment on the theme of femme fatale. It's been so long since I've worked in a comic style~

Of course I had to include some fanart from one of my fav games~ (・◇・) Widow and Sombra dressed in modern fashions! I always have so much fun coming up with wardrobes for characters, it's like playing dress up hehe. The best part is adding small embellishments that make the pieces unique to that character, agh, I love it so much! °˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ °
