Did you know chapter 6 was 75 pages long ?? I keep cutting my chapter at the wrong time, it should always lead to a cliffhanger but I stop it when the scene ends. Dunno why I'm doing this -

Tera's Anatomy
I'm sorry I swear I tried to tone down Tera's muscles but I never drew it for the comics so it was new to me!!! xD I've actually learned from these pages! I was really confused about how to render Tera's anatomy without it looking too sharp (yk I don't like it-) Honestly can't tell if I succeeded, but there's not a single panel of him that I didn't do twice just because I was very hesitant!
As weird as it may sound, I tried to hide his body as much as possible (except the large pic p.7, you only see parts of it, when I usually love to show my characters fully) At first the towel was really high (almost covering his navel) but I thought it would be mean to you lol. I have a very singular approach to desire and nudity: I always felt like the less I could see from a character, the more effective it was on me. I think it's because it causes a frustration. But a good one!
I guess that explains why we waited 300 pages to see a bit of Tera's chest, and why I'm not doing nsfw stuff-
Just like the fact the Boy seems to get a glimpse of Tera...anatomy when he looks through the keyhole. But again, it is suggested. It's up to you to decide what he saw, and I love it!

First version
In a first version of this scene (script) when the Boy gets in the bathroom, he finds Tera fully n_ked, and screams "OMG PUT SOMETHING ON!!!" covering his eyes, and when Tera says "okay, done" we find out Tera just put his mask on, but still n_ked lol. But I didn't keep it, I prefer Tera a little modest (pudique in french), not pretentious about his body.
PS: If you read desc. you know last time I talked about an unmasked Tera: it's not the scene I was talking about, it comes later in the chapter!
PPS: A part of this scene is made to give meaning to the previous one ...!

Or at least it tells, that their relationship isn't yet there, where he can safely show his face. And maybe im reading too much into that "if you see face of a black death your end is nigh". Joris has seen their face obviosly and he is still alive :)

It's telling so many things at the same time, how he want's to protect the boy and how the black death works. And he's loyalt to the group, and he knows how dangerous it would be to show his face. Im obsessed with your work.

I think the Boy will ask Tera how he found him later (he just doesn't think about it for now), but I assume Tera just followed the Boy from the roofs at some point of the story, noticing that every time they meet, the Boy is walking (no subway, car etc) which means he lives close. Tera is using both hands ?? When ?? xD If you're talking about the bow, it's because I was focus on how I wanted the panel to look like! I think he's right-handed tho! Haha yeah I know that's a different phone from the beginning ! It's mainly to confuse readers about the date of the events: if the phone is the brand new iphone it kinda tells the story takes place quite recently (and not in 2012 lol). It also tells a bit about the characters: The Boy had an older phone, he's not into it that much. I bet Joris has an even older phone, since he can barely pay for his car repairs (works at Starbucks). And Tera gets a lot of money from his job - hope it answer your questions haha. New update in 24 hours!!!

Dang I hope people get it (maybe when you read chapter 6 and 7 at the same time it’s easier); I was worried people don’t understand the shadow from the Boy’s sleep paralysis tries to cover his eyes (and not grabs his face) so in order to show it and to accentuate it (consequences in his life) I drew Tera covering the Boys eyes: that makes him panic ! Like bad memories/trauma
