Dunno if you ever noticed but when I draw them side by side (like on the right; even in the comic) I always have to kinda cheat: the boy's feet would not touch the ground in most of the pic lol. I don't draw them "full length" often enough to know why I have to do that, but I'm very curious... I'll find out!
Tho (again, dunno if you noticed) the same happen in movies: if the girl is to short, she stands on something to make the shot better in some scenes. Like kissing scenes -
Do you remember how at the beginning (and even when I started on Patreon) I was only drawing them separately? I even remember getting one message asking me to draw them together more often haha. Then I started to do those sketches sheets of their daily life and we really got to see more of them together!

Just now I surprised myself - one of these pics makes me really sad and kinda anxious... (The hug in the middle/fourth pic, both smiling). It's so beautiful. A captured moment of lighthearted, carefree genuine happyness and connection between those two (that's the vibe I get). Just a moment. The anxiety kicks in, thinking about fleeting moments passing by. Things change. People change. Circumstances change. I imagine them looking at a picture like that, remembering a moment that is no longer. Gone, like watercolors in the rain. All of the pics are so beautiful. Love them!
