Hm so - I have to say drawing these pages and finally seeing the black shadow, I honestly thought: omg, people are gonna be like "what the fuck is going on in this story" and just quit reading. I don't think I ever felt that until now x)
Just trust me, I know where I'm going, you won't regret it! >.< We're going deeper in the story, everything you're seeing will make sense later (EVERYTHING), nothing is drawn just to look cool. Now I just need to convince Tapas reader that it's a good story lol. They'll all give up I'M SURE -

Finally introducing the black butterflies! Can't say why they're here for now, actually you'll have to wait until the end, almost- Anyway, because of the Boy's fear, I needed something to "personify" the dark. (Note that the butterflies are not flying, they fill darkest areas) Like you can feel it, hear it, it's dense and heavy. I assume the Boy can hear light "flap" sounds all around, in complete silence.
If you're wondering what inspired me it, google "Black Cloud" by Carlos Amorales, it was an artistic performance I heard about in Art school. Check it, so you could see what it would look like in real life lol.

What's next ? After that chapter we see Joris again, walking with crutches haha, and then their relationship (Tera & the Boy) changes >///< Like the Boy will actually open up a little about his fears etc! What are we gonna learn omg ???
PS. I swear it's not about Satan lol.
PPS. Re-reading it now I just noticed I forgot a panel, that kinda tells "it's a sleep paralysis". But anyway that or a nightmare, you get it (btw, if you go back to chapter 4, at one point you can read (I hope) on the therapist's notes -sleeping paralysis- ! ;D )

He wants to be friends with Tera but he is like ,,If you wanna die make another step and your wish will come true!" while the boy is the never ending sunshine boy who can be friends everyone and takes pity in those who get blocked (in an ironical way). I like their dynamic.

I know how terriffying sleep paralysis is when you have a nightmare .... you know you’re sleeping and you try to wake up but your body just doesn’t wanna move and you are filled with fear... so for the boy seeing this black butterfly creature i almost can feel his terror too..... i wonder if it will be Tera who is gonna wake him up and find him trembling .. so i’m really looking forward to the next chapter .

It’s very realistic. I’ve had sleep paralysis before (but not recently). When I manage to open my eyes, I usually do freak out at any shadow I see (even when it turns out to be the shadow of normal things).

I had one once, but I was sooo intrigued and impressed(?) by what I was seeing that I didn't really feel the fear lol -
