I just became a patreon, but I scrolled through everything already! I love The Boy & The Wolf, they give me so much comfort. I started reading them like...4-6 months ago on tapas I think? Looking at all your sketches and drawings was so fun and made me appreciate tera and the boy even more :3 I can't believe you've been working this long on it already. I'm so impressed by your consistency, I wanna be like that too with my own projects. Knowing how long you've been working on this makes me incredibly motivated to also keep doing what I'm doing. Thank you <3

Another year has passed since this first post here on Patreon... which makes it 7 years now! 7 years of hard work, 7 years of incredibly creative and unique storytelling, 7 years of wonder, joy, and emotional rollercoaster, 7 years of looking forward to the next update like it's christmas day, 7 years of making T H A T difference, 7 years in love with the B&W, 7 years... Thank you so much, Pico. H A P P Y A N N I V E R S A R Y!!! (And to hell with that 7-year-itch!)

I can so relate to that on an emotional level. More than I actually like to admit. "Failed" “Failed to keep you” – now that’s very interesting (and beautiful!), because to “keep someone” means so much more than just in the way of possessing somebody (by the means of holding on to someone – not by the means of “ownership”, of course). To be the keeper of someone means to be responsible (it is even used in that context in the roman- catholic bible, the book of genesis). So yes, I like how that adds up. Not “I lost you” but instead “I failed to keep you”. I failed to keep you - by my side - safe - in my memory - from harm (…) Lots of possible meanings. Beautiful art!... painful to look at, because the loss and hurt I see in it are so relatable.

This is one of my favorite images of The Wolf and the Child because it was one of the first I saw when I met your art
