Brood XIX Field Recordings

I took my custom wide-frequency-range mics out to the deep woods in central Georgia to record the cicada phenomenon happening there. It was SO LOUD!! My dB meter picked up a maximum volume of 98dB from these suckers!
In the link you'll find 2 MP3s and then the original 32-bit, 196kHz wav files in case you want to interpret them or slow them down. They should sound "cd quality" all the way down to 44kHz (bout' 5x slower!).
Also, note the slow pulsating in the "field" one. Wild stuff!
