cool! haha no kidding. I think that in some ways the most significant V2 feature will be the built-in module allow-list (though stoermelder MB already does that, it's way nicer if it's integrated with the library). hopping on over to the stream!

2021-10-08 01:14:24 +0000 UTCLooking forward! You probably already know this, but the VCV library won't work with the V2 prereleases; plugins have to be installed manually. A lot of plugins have been ported to V2 already thanks to a very easy migration path plus a huge community effort (happening all over but the central thread is https://community.vcvrack.com/t/plugins-that-are-built-for-rack-v2/14191). However! Due to C++ details, you have to install plugins that were built against the exact version of V2 that you're using (right now that's 2.git.042a9ce0, so look for plugin builds with 042a9ce0 in them or use that SDK if you're building them yourself). This requirement will go away once the ABI is finalized (expected in about 3 weeks). Again, you're probably already aware, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention this well in advance of going live :)
