Added 2020-12-31 20:15:23 +0000 UTCA tune I created pretty much solely for the channel. I believe some of the synths you hear are a Hydrasynth, Polyend Tracker, and 707 DLC for the TR8.

yes, i actual read the manual after a couple days tweaking blind. BUT i do nearly always read it at some point because there are these small things that you will almost never see mentioned in all these wonderful "review" videos. have fun with new potential! the hydra is MEANT to be performed on live the way the interface is designed. many have asked the necessity of immediate access to arp control, but then i ask...have they performed with this thing using those knobs and macros? serious potential. EDIT: Also wanna give hydra people a link to an interview w lead designer Darcy : https://www.perfectcircuit.com/signal/asm-hydrasynth-interview
2021-01-04 21:56:11 +0000 UTCI have a Hydrasynth and I *should* have read the manual to know this already, but I'm lazy. So thank you immensely for these tips!! Now to spend a few days getting my head around how I'm gonna use this new dimension to the Hydra lol.
2021-01-04 19:30:19 +0000 UTCmy head bobbing. nice hydra patching. nice flow. odd ending what was that ;) p.s. a cool thing w the hydra is those toggle buttons in the macro area. the whole macro setup on the hydra makes for a joyous performance synth. shift+knob resets values to 0.0 instantly. shift+buttons makes them momentary. i've owned my share of digital synths but this one is pwrful. using those things i mentioned can basically create breaks in arp patterns as well as whole sub-patches within a patch on-the-fly
