"Reflections shimmer, but don’t match your movements. Sounds bend and stretch, familiar but not quite right. You take a step forward, and it echoes behind you. The mirror breathes."
Hey folks!
Today's track is called Mirrors of Mystery, and it’s built around a really interesting sample library called Mirrors that tries to mimic synth textures using the orchestra, and vice versa. The result is this continuous shifting blend between synthetic and organic, fading in and out like layers of reality overlapping.
The track has a slightly otherworldly feel, a mix of awe, tension, and ambient weirdness, with reverse effects, soft pulses, and slow swells. Great for strange discoveries, dreamlike transitions, or exploring something just beyond comprehension.
The art used in the video is from Czepeku Scenes | Illustrated fantasy scenes
Bard tier supporters get access to one alternate version of the track:
Cinematic Folklore – This version replaces the hybrid orchestral textures with more rustic, folky instrumentation. Still ambient and dreamy, but perhaps more suitable for standard fantasy games.
30-second preview of this version is attached to the post!
