"From the twisted wreckage of the foundry, a looming figure rises. A hundred feet tall, the titan is a mechanized monstrosity. It howls with a screech of steel. This is a foe you cannot face. You can only run."
Hey folks,
Happy 200th track! I started this Patreon on a whim at the start of the pandemic, and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. With your support, I’ve been able to buy a home and start a family, without the financial insecurity that often accompanies those milestones. I’ve been able to dedicate my working life to creating the exact kind of music I love, all while combining it with my favorite hobby: running TTRPGs. Thank you so much!
Today’s track is a pretty epic one to mark the occasion! Bard-tier supporter Wyrd requested an industrial horror chase track. While the horror elements may have taken a backseat, they’re still present in parts. The track features huge percussion, synthy arps and hits, epic strings, and more, blending together into a big, epic mix of chaos. I hope you all enjoy listening!
The animated art used in the youtube video is from the excellent Czepeku Scenes | Illustrated fantasy scenes
Bard-tier supporters have access to the following alternate version:
Slow Epic: I think I prefer this one to the original! It slows down the pace and mutes much of the percussion while still preserving the epic scale. The slower tempo allows the track to breathe a bit more, letting some of the interesting textures stand out.
A 30-second preview of this version is attached to this post!
