Tribal War

Already you can smell smoke from the burning fires, their ember glow lightning the silhouettes of a dozen tribal warriors, clan in tanned hides and grasping wooden shields and spears. They shout war cries to one another in their native tongue as their shamans appeal to the spirits for a victorious battle to come.
Any of you who have been following my last two live streams will have heard this track in the making. The track was inspired by a suggestion from ae4355 over on the Discord channel. They asked for something with drums, bass, with a tribal that gives you that "orc horde on the move" kind of feeling. The end result ended up being more generic tribal than specifically orcish, but I'm really happy with the result (and I hope ae3455 is too!)
The track uses deep percussion, tribal shouts, throat singing, digeridoo rhythms, and ancient flutes to create an intense and earthy atmosphere. I imagine it could be used during a combat encounter, or as a background soundscape as the party explorers a tribal village.
