I actually prefer this series to the earlier ones. I think it's more consistently good; and I like the more developed character of Frank.

2025-02-11 18:13:18 +0000 UTCThis show was crazy π They would never let them do that with a live cat now... If you look carefully, you can see the cat is trapped and crying out when the lady tries to grab it and he had to untangle it's leg and paw to release it π€¦

2025-02-11 18:11:54 +0000 UTCI know what you mean, those were my initial thoughts when I first saw this episode. However, I then read an interview with Michael Crawford where he said that he thought, to show the passage of time since the last episode, he had to show Frank had SLIGHTLY matured, the main reason for this being Jessica. He felt the Frank of the first two series, was too much of a child himself to adequately care for Jessica so he had to signify some type of mental growth/maturity.

2025-02-11 10:50:38 +0000 UTCI have to admit - I wasn't a fan of this series. Frank seems 'different' and not as naive as he once was - which is what made him funny. It was like Michael Crawford had forgotten how to play Frank. Just my opinion, but it's still a very good comedy.
