I agree that it's impossible to convince any one without tangible proof unless they've experienced something themselves. (and i'm not just talking about a cold breeze etc.)
But i've had too many experiences for it to be my mind playing tricks on me. I'll admit that some could have been, but there are two instances that definitely were not. If you want me to go into detail for the definite ones then just ask.

Steven Berkoff and Lisa Stokke. I think maybe the actual American is just a bad actor who I thought was putting on a bad accent! (just like Anthony Head did in the first episode - yet he is a good actor)

I believed in them when I was a kid but Ghosts aren't real. The mindplays tricks on us all the time, but there is no independant evidence for ghosts and no serious person claims they do exist. Its a fact like water is wet, someone can some along and say @I know water is dry because I felt it@ but that wouldn't change the reality that water is actually wet - same priniple for ghosts.

LOL no I wouldn't want to stay somewhere haunted. Tay has asked me to do that before.

I'm curious who you think has the terrible American accents because both Bronson and Alan actors are from the US, while Jodee's actress is from Norway!
Haunted room always makes me think of The Grinning Man special, probably my favourite.

This aired almost 2 years after The Three Gamblers. Jan 00 vs Dec 01

Only thing I remembered about this one is that the magician dude was dead and not driving the car. (and the terrible American accents lol)
From what you’ve said, I assume you wouldn’t stay in a place that was supposedly haunted? I’ve got friends and family who don’t believe in ghosts, yet when I offer to pay for them to stay in a supposedly haunted room they always turn it down!
(i’ve had my own experiences so I know they’re real - nothing extreme like out of a horror movie though)

IIRC it aired as a one-off Christmas special, it wasn't part of the series 4 production

It feels weird to see this listed as s3e7. I'm pretty sure it was about two years after the previous episode… at the time, I seem to recall people talking about it like it was a kind of sequel to the original series, or a single-episode 4th season.
Last time I paid attention to any of the online discussion about this show (while it was still on air), the majority were counting this as a TV movie that came between s3 and s4; although a few people insisted that this was s4e1, and argued with everybody else about how to number the episodes for the rest of the season.
I guess that since then, some kind of official numbering has become known.

She's not the women from Friday night dinner. She was the barmaid in bottom.

Even though there's no Maddie, this is probably my favourite episode

Yeah it's sad. I quite like Carla though, it's just unfortunate they wrote Maddie off after Caroline Quentin left to have a baby. Maybe some day for a special!

No more Maddie, we've got Carla for the next season.
