You would think that technically the "immunity to powers" thing would prevent Seth from transferring the power

To me though it's kinda horrifying. Repetition is one of those things that makes my skin crawl. I've always had nightmares about being stuck in loops, like where someone is saying the same thing to me over and over in the same tone of voice and I can't stop it. My skins crawling thinking about it.

2024-08-31 00:49:05 +0000 UTCLike the commenter above, I do feel like it ties up. It's a classic star-crossed lovers interpretation- he'll go back to save her over and over and she'll fall in love with him over and over, their love story will go on forever. If he 'closed the loop', like by saving the purity girl or something, and Alisha wasn't killed, he'd have never had a reason to go back- why would he choose to leave his life with her behind just to get shot in the past? But if he never went back, Alisha would never have fallen in love with him- like he says it has to happen exactly as it happened. I see why some people might find it frustrating but I agree with Kelly, I think it's 'dead romantic'!

2024-08-30 20:30:07 +0000 UTCIt's not exactly a loop but it does tie up: he never actually manages to stop her from dying in this episode but by going back he causes their eventual relationship, cutting his life short in exchange for time with her and getting to be the person he became
