Heya, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. This post is a bit long.

(Reminder to NoRa's Fleet: When NSFW AU comic Part 5 goes up, Part 4 will be inaccessible. NSFW post is cleaned out every month on this tier).
I need to be 100% mentally and physically ready to crank content out faster.
I got over quarantine fatigue by ignoring the news completely. However, finding out webtoon deleted multiple chapters from the middle of the series was a timesuck and drained my mental energy dry. Even though I had a hunch it was coming, based on their new rules, it still sucks.
Thankfully, my letterer Steph is helping me to combine #1-72 so I can properly put it all in one spot, independent from outside platforms who can willy-nilly burn down 3 years worth of my blood and sweat.

#73 - #74: Unplanned Feelings
The other ex-agent (Arnold) talked about the contrast between Lightspeed's company culture and the Carjou's culture.
Cora hasn't seen or talked to her bf for 3 years. Zander was Cora's bf for “only” a year before she had to escape and she never saw him since. Their love was never consummated.
North (who's been boozing while waiting for the storm) spilled the beans about what he likes about Cora (shown in #49, #52, #46, #67) and we see that it's not just about her T and A but much deeper feelings he didn't know he had. Her hotness was the first thing that caught his eye.
#75 and #76 were one chapter. It ties the entire story, all the way back to chapter one, that shows a human girl (Claire) wrapped in Lightspeed logo who is being cremated in front of Cora and Zander.
Unlike North who is sheltered, Cora has lived with humans since the day she was born. Claire has shown her that not all humans are terrible, even though Lightspeed under Nikolai's leadership slaughtered her entire family.
She could've destroyed North back in #48, but she didn't. She broke the cycle of revenge and that is the first time in his life that North encountered kindness from Carjou. If she had the same sheltered experience as North, she probably would've destroyed him when she had the chance. There wouldn't have been fun kissy kissy and boobie time, they would've ended up killing each other, and this would've been the worst story ever lol...
Who would wanna read that shit! (´∀`;)
#75: Two Sides of Every Coin shows the origin of their conflict can be traced to acquisition of resources & what drives Lightspeed's economic engine. This isn't Pocahontas. The war was also caused by Chief Nikolai's manipulations, driven by his greed and ambition to oust his rival inside Lightspeed.
And if you've ever wondered why the humans are so terrible in this comic?
#76: Bad Combo explains it. It also affects North who was terrible in the beginning of the comic.
Throughout all 4 chapters, the lurking Captain seems to know what's going on so far, but it's still unsure which side he's on.
------
I'm not a fan of spelling this out, cos the story should show this without me pointing it out. Instead of telling you hey, here's the good guy and here's the bad guy, and here's what you should think. That is very off putting imo.
I only summarized it here cos the gap between updates is long enough to make ppl forget.
Not everyone understands the time needed to get the art done, but I'm doing my best getting this done despite all the hurdles.
A bunch of patrons who've been supporting me since 2018 messaged me that they really loved my work but they lost their job due to Ronapocalypse and had to leave Patreon, but they really hope I finish my story.
It'd be easier for me to delete this comic off webtoon than censoring more of my old chapters. I'm only taking the time to make the censored edits for the readers. They're the ones who are invested in the story and can't afford my Patreon. I'm still busting my ass to finish this comic for them and for you guys.
I can assure you this comic has no filler. Every update will lead to a major plot point by the end of Act Two. Good storytelling is the only thing that will stand the test of time, so I wanna make sure that I hit all my plot points in my outline. I'm estimating the climax and resolutions in Act Three won't take more than a handful of chapters.
Thank you for reading all the way down to here, and I'll post the updates as soon as it's ready!
Have a great week!
