2023-09-22 10:14:04 +0000 UTCDid I just misread the situation. Or wasn't that pretty basic teacher, student, manipulative grooming. Surely the point of his character is that he's done that tac several times before. That validation vulnerable shtick might be the case as well, I guess. But the aim by the end was to remove the opportunity to decline, and then feel foolish for misreading the situation, twice. So when he finally does make his clumsy move, it will perhaps be recieved better. It's an ugly cliché.
