I agree. One of the worst episodes in my opinion. Got mad love for the series, waited years for you to get to it and loved it.

Hi Josh. I know you don't watch films for the channel but if you enjoy Howard Moon the actor plays a similar character in a film called Mindhorn. In the film he plays an out of work actor who's asked to help the police deal with a possible terrorist by pretending to be the detective he played on an old cancelled tv show. He's pretty much the same character he plays here and the films quite funny. I think it's on netflix in some region but I can't remember which one. I think you'd enjoy it.

Hi

Jeremy O Dwyer

It wasn't my favorite but still a fun episode =]

Yeah, should have ended with the party ep. I agree, the live shows are a good way of closing out the series, like Bottom.

Nick Symes

The live shows after are pretty good, you should check those out

I agree with you that it's not the strongest episode. That being said i really love all the Jurgen Haabemaster stuff, how his name keeps getting captioned in real world footage, how he turns to the camera in the middle of a scene etc. I think they had this as the closer because both Howard and Vince had the chance to 'make it big' with the acting and the band, and escape from the premise of the show. Before the inevitable British ending of returning to the mundane status quo
