After Work Reactions

For years, i would just skip season 1 completely when re-watching. Season 1 is 'ok' (the electro band episode is awesome) but now we're onto the real gems imo :)

James

Jazz has too many forms for any attacks on it to hold weight

Jade Nepia

Awesome but I am looking forward to it =]

Austin’s always on the money. Bring on S2! 🥳

My dad's girlfriend was Bryan Ferry's personal assistant for thirty years so I grew up with pre-release copies of his solo albums all over the place. It was nice when I got older and began really exploring music to discover that he was actually genuinely cool and Roxy Music were great.

I feel like they're all made up as they go along, that's what makes it unique. Free-association comedy. Jazz comedy.

This is the last episode of season 1.. Season 2 is a lot better with the stories and sets.. this series kinda felt like they were making it up as they went but seasons 2 and 3 are much more story based.. can't wait for you to see them lol

I'm definitely more Howard than Vince! :D

Toby Mann

70s jazz funk was and still is a damn fine source for hip hop breaks.

Bryan Ferry is the lead singer of the 70s band Roxy Music. They were a big band, and very influential on the 80s New Wave and New Romantic genres. Their biggest hits were "Love is The Drug", "More Than This", and "Avalon". They never charted that highly in the states, but there is a chance you'd have heard one of those three before. The white tux was Ferry's signature look in the late 70s and early 80s. Terry Wogan on the other hand was an Irish radio and TV presenter who did stuff for the BBC for over 40 years. He had his own chat show for 10 years too. I was always a fan of him, as he had a very laid back informal presenting style - low tempo, meandering, and could be quite witty. Some people found him rather abrasive though.
