Taskmaster Season 9 Episode 4 Quisps

Comments

I'm in and from the UK. Sure they were paper cups, but they are also disposable cups, along with polystyrene cups and cheap plastic cups. It's just one of those things, almost like dramatic irony, where you see they were so close but so far. Except he still would have lost haha

Relyx

Because we would call them paper cups in the UK. So either one would be changing the name

Balkyne

Yeah always baffled me, thought I was going crazy when I rewatched it for the first time

The items starting with a letter task always gets me. Why does Ed say "drinking receptacles" when they were clearly disposable cups?!

Relyx

You are right, if you watch the one on UKTV play it's on there but they cut it from All4. I think it's a copyright issue *rolls eyes* because he sings it to the tune of my favourite things from the sound of music.

Interesting thanks for sharing bud. I will check that out.

Am I crazy or was there an extended version or something of the water feature task where Ed had little Alex Horne sing some more after the "ah ah ahhh" bit? I think it went something like "I am a mermaid who lives under the sea, why won't a sailor come visit me?". I swear I saw that the first time around and then it got cut out for some reason?

David was right, Seelöwe is an actual 1970s board game simulating a Nazi invasion of Britain! (I haven't played it, as sadly it doesn't entail balancing objects on top of Winston Churchill until he bucks them off.) On a related note, this week's outtake features David realising that winning the series from here may be a bit of an uphill struggle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9wTgjDOp9A
