Comments

This was my first time seeing this one, I've only ever heard bad things about it so wasn't expecting much but it was good! IMO anyway. I really enjoyed the weirdness of it and the daft word play. It's good when you have low expectations for something and it pleasantly surprises you. Yeah Josh, Scaramouche Scaramouche... will you do the fandango.. is from the Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody ๐Ÿ˜ really is almost impossible not to sing 'will you do the fandango' after hearing the word Scaramouche lol. The bit where he said the Chinese won't get the reference 'Cbeebies' - it's a BBC channel or something aimed at really little kids. Really enjoyed that :)

I like this episode. It's based upon commedia dell'arte (the genesis of the modern pantomime). I particularly enjoyed the shout out to the Cook'd and Bomb'd forum (a niche comedy forum), as I was a regular user at the time and it was bizarre to see a character turn to the camera and speak directly to myself, as a user.

I think I may have had it on the poll in the very beginning but I don't think it got too many votes so I added more requested shows after.

This episode very much reminds me of the play "6 characters in search of an author" by Luigi Pirandello which I am pretty sure this is immitating except its more of heist vibe

mrtheevilmage

Has anyone proposed Shameless? I haven't seen it on any of the polls and it's really worth a watch XD

Austin Stratton

Maybe it's more enjoyable if you've watched a lot of Hustle...

Z is for Zed

You missed 'Genoa' lmao

Austin Stratton

'Genoa?' 'Yes, since she was a little girl!'

Austin Stratton

Didn't anybody else see the Reservoir Dogs parallels?

Iโ€™m now watching the episodes I havenโ€™t seen , really like these guys I very rarely see the twists coming

Sorry to say I think this is my least favourite episode so far. A bit too clever for its own good, felt like less than the sum of its parts, trying to do too much (modern meta humour/monologues to camera, plus Carry On innuendo/predictable wordplay gags) and none of it quite gelled for me. Although I did laugh at them (after Chicago and Alaska) setting up but not following through with the old "Jamaica? No she went of her own accord" gag, despite that skirting dangerously close to a Family Guy style 'Do the tired material, but do a different punchline to joke about how the material is tired' routine!

This isn't a popular episode but I love it personally. Shamelessly silly, unsubtle and full of cringey puns but it works for me and puts a smile on my face. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ash Jeffries

such a bad episode XD

Johnson, I'm in love. I'm in love with you, Johnson
