@Cherzo - oh give it a rest you ridiculous little man. Just follow the rules like every other person here and stop trying to jump the queue. I'm not going to bother going over what bullshit your argument is, I've done that already. And since you've already outed yourself as an utterly colossal Godwin law-level, Hitler-invoking wankstain I'll leave you to stew. Always a sign of a reasonable mind when they compare the other person to Hitler. 👌

Christ! The comments section is a bit flouncy.

Ok lol they must be similar to Tums.

No, the Bottom movie was called Hotel Paradiso. It was voted in. There's always some excuse as to why people's favourite shows should not be subject to the same rules as everyone else. It's always something. And of course it's down to Josh, but he also needs to consider issues of fairness. This simply wouldn't be fair. And saying 'Josh will decide when he watches it' assumes he will watch it. But that should be up for vote. Besides if it's as popular as it seems to be here it's a moot point and it'll win easily, so why are you so hell-bent on getting it to jump the queue? Just chill and wait for it to win in the polls, like everyone else's favourite spin off movies has had to do.

60s+70s films based on tv shows are not as autonomous as later ones. There's more connectable threads. If Steptoe is ever voted in. Not to include the 2 films would be a big mistake and dilute the whole.

Colin Bayley

There's 35 minute's worth of Black Books outtakes on YouTube, maybe he'll watch those first before moving on.

I honestly think that would be a better idea than going to the second on the poll, he deserves the occasional day off from here. Besides, the 2nd and 3rd placed shows are only 2 votes apart, and more than 30 less than the winner, so I personally think it deserves a fresh poll in this occasion. Sam: I'm also not a fan of the shows in 2nd and 3rd place, but I've been a long-time champion of KMKYWAP so I'm pretty happy!

Ben

The movie should be subject to vote, like everything else. The Bottom movies weren't given automatic slots. Neither was Alpha Papa. Or The Mr Bean movie. Or the David Brent film. They were all voted in separately. The original vote was for the Porridge TV show and it's unfair for those of us who aren't fans of this show for a full length film to get added to the schedule like that without having to go through the same process as everything else.

Saul

I'm also a fan of consistency but ultimately it's up to Josh so we'll just have to wait and see. I'm not a fan of the shows in 2nd and 3rd place anyway, so for me it's just a case of waiting to see what I'll be disappointed by.

Sam

I wondered if Josh might just be taking a well deserved day off this Thursday and then starting a new show next week instead. He did that once before between one show ending and another starting. If that is the case, good on him :)

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

He used to do that but it changed for some reason. Either way, it should be consistent whether that happens or not, and it didn't happen several times where polls were very close in results, and for shows that started a day apart, so does it make sense for that to happen on a poll where second place has over 30 less votes than the winner? When the Royle Family won it was from a poll that occurred one day after another, in which Taskmaster won second place, but a second poll declared Royle Family the winner, despite Taskmaster having more votes in total when comparing the two one-day-apart polls. I've said a couple of times that the polls could be made a bit clearer, to give more of a chance for new shows to get on it, but whenever you make a suggestion on here people think it's complaining. It's not complaining, it's just making suggestions so everything is clearer, because without that you get mistakes like Vicar of Dibley winning the long show poll, or Wallace & Gromit being on a poll as a 22 episode series.

Ben

As they are both short shows he may just take the top two from the poll already posted.

Sam

I've noticed there's only two days before a new show is supposed to start on Thursday, but there hasn't been a poll, but the poll for a new Tuesday show has been around for almost a week. Will there be a poll soon for the new Thursday show?

Ben
