Great to see your reaction Josh, really enjoyed your thoughts and comparison to other comedy movies, all really well expressed points. Some interesting trivia: Mel Brooks worked with Lucasfilm for the special effects. George Lucas was really happy for his work to be parodied and supported the movie, his only ask was for no merchandising so not to confuse toy lines, etc. Alas, there was no real Spaceballs The Flame Thrower. The "We ain't found shit!" guy in the Comb the Desert scene is Tim Russ, who went on to play Tuvok throughout all of Star Trek Voyager.
