I always chuckle when you go out of your way to mention if Taeyang has a shirt on (or not) for the performance 🤣 Also I really liked that orchestra rendition of Power! The original version felt more like a song for GD to showcase his identity/send a message to his haters, but this version felt like its sending a way stronger message beyond that with the choir joining in at the chorus. Speaking of TOP 😂 I remember you talking about wanting to look at some solo stuff from BIGBANG members on YT, so I thought you might be interested to check out Doom Dada - the MV is quite interesting and I would love to hear your thoughts on that! Also the corresponding live stage to check out would be the one in their 2016 0.TO.10 Final in Seoul (: Thanks for your reactions as always!

But france tv put them in the closing act when the whole show was broadcasted on tv one week later after the performance.

One of my friends actually went there, he was in the audience and I am quite jealous of him 🙃 j-hope - A full on orchestra? Holy shit. - That's La Défense Arena. HUGE place. Fits 40.000 people for a concert. - It's SO easy for him, isn't it? - Oh good lord, the orchestral version of More 🫠 - The way he just performs Mic Drop all by himself and it still feels like absolutely nothing is missing. - Mic Drop was the song that really pulled me into the kpop hole four and a half years ago, and to see it performed with this kind of arrangement and production is really quite special. Rosé - Better than the studio version, yes, 100% - I love the vibe of the pianist. - THIS is the huge stage that APT deserves and Rosé didn't use at MAMA for some goddamn reason. Taeyang & GD - Listen to that. People in France singing along to the Korean lyrics of Eyes Nose Lips. The mark of a truly legendary song transcending the boundaries of language. - Home Sweet Home is my favourite song of 2024. Straight up no. 1. There were lots of amazing releases last year but this one is so special in ways that no other song can be. - Fuck, I'm getting emotional watching this on my small screen at home. What must it have been like for the people who were actually there in person...

It's not like Paris is right next to my door but it would be managable (it's like 5-6h) so if you would've known a bit sooner about this I might have emptied my bank account to attend this gala lol

And yeah it's crazy how APT can still feel fresh and not overplayed lol It's absolutely crazy to me how an entire arena full of people in PARIS, FRANCE sings word for word along to a Korean ballad released ELEVEN FUCKING YEARS AGO. That level of power (pun intended lol) was mindblowing to me but Taeyang & GD showed once again what amazing performers they are!
