Also, I've decided to give Annis an entirely new design. I won't be asking Mavis to do the concept, but I think Bebe can manage with references (Mavis' concepts just made things a little simpler).
This week I started working on and finished making an optional dungeon. It's for Halloween, and I want to keep adding content to it every year. I'll probably do the same thing for a Christmas themed dungeon (I'll start on it in December, and hopefully it won't take longer than a week or so).
I also did one of the major things from my "to do before the next release" list, which was completing the wardrobe "skill tree".
I then started tackling other stuff from that list, so I scoured every single common event and corrected any instance where Sienna's appearance would be changed, in order to comply with the new clothing system. While doing that I also attempted to remove all instances of "intoxication = Sienna wants to sex everything". This was not my original intent for intoxication, so it's my intent to fix this mistake. I'm sure I'll have missed some events on specific maps but I can always find em later.
I'm currently going through and polishing up the smaller dungeons, adding secret rooms and such. I've almost finished that, as I've made it to the last one (The Catacombs). After that, I need to work on converting old enemy animations to the 4 frame format (really old animations still exist, where it's many frames and makes for a very slow animation during the battles). And finally I will probably do a LOT of work on the menu system.
I'm really hopeful for an October release. Once I get all the "to do" issues sorted out, I'm thinking of releasing a "closed beta" version first for patrons, and then we can playtest to make sure everything's working properly before a public release.
