August 26th Progress Update
Added 2018-08-26 08:11:07 +0000 UTCCouldn't sleep. Didn't feel cognitive enough to work on anything important so I collected all the enemy sprites for Caverns levels 7 & 8. This will be the last 2 levels of it. I've always intended on it being a place to primarily get your stained glass shards, with optional bosses.
I'm not sure if I'll have the last level lead anywhere else. Probably just end it there, considering all the freezing darkness you have to go through to get there. The final 2 bosses should be very rewarding though. I'll probably work on the enemy stats and such next, if I fail to work on the more important features again.
Edit: Just wanted to quickly note that I have used the enemy sprites to make their battle sprites, so those are now ready as well. Still need to determine their stats, put them in an enemy troop, and place their appropriate events.
Also, I'm thinking that defeat against regular enemies should result in the loss of the rest of the day. This is actually used in many "farm simulator" type rpgs, such as Run Factory, Stardew Valley, etc.. I think it would be a better alternative to ending the game, and also fit better within the context of the game's storyline. I wish I could do this for bosses as well, but I think it could be potentially glitchy.
