August 20th Progress Update 2

I worked on the tranquility stuff a bit this morning. I'm going to be using a concept that I had way back in the early days of FSA, when I wanted to have random dungeon levels. I've learned so much since then, and I'm still learning new stuff.

I've been a little cryptic because I wasn't sure what to do with the tranquility. I know what I want to do with it now. Sleeping with negative tranquility will send Sienna to a type of "bonus" area, where you have to defeat random monsters and collect "tranquility orbs" to get her tranquility back up to a positive amount. Losing a fight will, of course, lose tranquility as usual. You won't be able to leave, but you can move on and look around until you find more tranquility orbs and those will always recover Sienna's Vigor & Magic completely.

I guess you could say that it's like Sienna is going to a dark place in her own mind, but it's also physically real, like the shadow monsters from Don't Starve. Don't worry though, it won't be nearly as harsh as Don't Starve's nightmare creatures. xD

Then again, I might make it more difficult the more often you go there. x]
