August 14th Progress Update

A while back someone asked if I could prevent enemies from running if they are asleep (or otherwise incapacitated). Well I couldn't manage that, or at least it's not something that could be easily done. The action is forced whenever primary enemies are defeated, so I would pretty much have to put in a condition for each state that would prevent the enemy from running. Well I certainly did not want to do that, so I've changed how minions and inactive enemies function. 

Surprised, brainless, etc.. enemies can still run after 3 rounds, but spells such as sleep, etc.. should prevent this, as it's not a forced action. No change there. BUT, should the primary enemies be killed first, they will no longer run. They will now, instead, transform into their basic enemy type. A brainless skeleton, for example, will transform into a vanilla skeleton once the former vanilla skeleton has been killed. This can of course be prevented by killing the inactive enemies first.

Minions also function differently. Before, they would always flee only when the primary combatants were killed. Now, they die instead. This can either be interpreted as them running and you get the experience anyway, or you can assume their power is derived from their leader.

Hopefully both changes will work out for the better. I went ahead and changed all the enemies/groups to the new system, since it wasn't too complicated.
