Monster Reduction (Lightlocks remove monsters?)
Added 2016-09-27 14:50:25 +0000 UTCI want to reduce the monsters in The Dungeon and Crypts by about 50%. Are there any other areas where they seem too numerous? Please let me know!
The other thing I want to talk about is the possibility of making Lightlocks more useful. Basically, would it interest anyone for the Lightlocks to remove all monsters on a level when they are solved? This wouldn't be too difficult to implement, and would make solving them a bit more appealing.
The only problem with this would be that you don't get credit for the kills (no exp and no kill credit). Kill credits are given every time you defeat a group, which will be used, namely, to unlock a variety of House of Pleasure monsters. This shouldn't be too much of an issue though, since most of those unlocks will require maybe 10 monster kills of a kind.
I could probably set up the monsters so that they give the kill credit before they disappear, or even turn them to stone (allowing Sienna to bust them with the hammer for the kill credit, and possibly other goodies you wouldn't normally get).
