I've started working on The Abyss again. I'm going to add another area at the start, somewhere (haven't decided where yet). The primary purpose of it will be to add some quest items and such, although I'll also be revisiting older sections (like The Dungeon) and adding stuff as well. I'm currently working on adding quests for each child (which they'll give if you talk to them). These quests will be open for the most part, allowing you to complete them at any time.
I'll try to keep time-sensitive tasks off the quest list. Those will be more oriented toward character and story development. By time sensitive I mean it's something you won't be able to go back and do after a time lapse. Failed quests would be kinda sloppy for the completionist. :)
I've also started work on converting monster encounters, converging old and new elements into one event.
I'll also need to update the monsters at some point. I'm pretty sure the original baddies won't be much of a challenge anymore after having went through The Tower.
I'll probably try not to buff them up too much, considering it's possible to zoom through much of the game without having to fight anything. They should be at least as strong as the monsters in The Tower though.
