Seems a lot of people dislike this film 😂 I thought it was great haha

Liam

FYI Josh, when I use the Movies filter this isn't included.

Thanks for kicking my ass into watching that. I loved 'Lock, Stock..' and 'Snatch', but then Guy Ritchie kept letting me down until I just gave up. This was great though, back to that same kind of form, and it was even better watching it with you. Thank you Josh.

Has anyone suggested watching a movie called Green Street yet Josh? About football hooligans.

Matt Anderson

Decent little film twist after twist

Jack Veazey

Love this film, really glad you’re reacting to it

As with all of Guy Ritchies best work this gets better each time you watch, lots of quotable dialogue as there always is. I just wish it wasn’t Henry Golding character who said “when the silverbacks got more silver than back, he best move on, before he gets moved on”, cause that’s an epic line

If he's seen it it won't go on the list, and it's mainly comedies for the tv shows since they arguably make for better reactions. But I remember watching Braking Bad a second time(only a month or so after I'd binged the whole thing myself for the first time), with someone who hadn't seen it before, and the experience was elevated massively. It was good the first time around, but the second time it was brilliant; I think watching it with someone else - them loving it, my being able to anticipate their reactions to big moments, and talk with them about it - was a big part of that. So I think it would make a great reaction show, but it's probably not going to win on this channel...since it's unlikely to get many votes and there's a very Brit-centric emphasis to the shows. Obviously if Josh has seen it all this is moot anyway.

Hey Josh I assume you've watched Breaking Bad right? I've seen it 8 times but would gladly watch it for a 9th with you!

I have not bud I will add them to my list!

Stop being a hater 🤣🤣

God, this film is awful. Cringeworthy writing and acting across the board. How does Charlie Hunnam have a career?

Chris

He's mentioned other Guy films but has he seen Sherlock or TMFU?

Sean Riley

To be fair, the guy he is basing the accent on sounds kinda atypical anyway. He said in an interview thet he based the accent on a particular sleazy journalist, who he had had dealings with during the whole phone hacking scandal. It's been while but I seem to remember seeing a clip of the journalist in question, and if I remember his accent did sound a little unusual. Although I guess you could then say 'well why choose a weird one to mimic then'?

God....give this a go but couldn't stay the course, despite the presence of the brilliant Eddie Marsan. Soon as the name Hugh Grant appears on anything I instantly switch off but I abandoned that action here..... until he appeared with his laughable attempt at a London accent....
