2022-01-24 15:08:20 +0000 UTCI think it's worth discussing, there have already been changes to the way polls have been carried out here since the beginning. For instance in the past, the top four winners have been chosen as the next four shows, that system just kind of stopped, not sure why. Also It was patrons suggestions that led to sketch shows not being eligible, and just two long running shows in the week. So maybe the polling system can be revisited in some way, maybe a bracket system or something like that. Because at the moment there are some shows that will just never get a chance, and there's a danger of there being little variety in the weeks line-up.

2022-01-23 22:04:16 +0000 UTCHey Josh, I’m not sure if this has been suggested before or if you’ve tried, but for these polls would it be better to do a kind of vote where the top four shows get selected and then people select what they want to watch from the final four? The movie polls seem to work really well as people have got a good chance of getting at least one movie they selected on the poll, and there seems to be quite a few comedies which never quite make it, maybe because people are hedging their bets on other shows (I know we can vote on as many as we like, but voting behaviour is complicated!). Just throwing it out there as an idea and I’d like to hear counter arguments or possible problems of this from people. Also Josh this would create extra work for you and we already appreciate the massive amount of effort and thought you put into organising these polls, kudos!

However, personally, having seen them several times over the years, I agree... they wouldn’t appeal to me now, so difficult to be objective about it.

I don't hate it, but it's holding back some fantastic comedy from getting on the polls, or winning. As someone who's desperate for Josh to react to Spaced, Black Books, Porridge etc, I just want the fans to finally watch it so we can all move on... No snobbery here, just a desperate plea!

Otherwise its fits perfectly in this schedule. Its a genuine shame, its the sort of program thats perfect for Josh :)

And the series don't really relate to each other - that's the beauty of Partridge: you can plonk him in so many different environments (chat show/radio/This Time) and just let him go. I'm fine with it

Its the kinda thing Josh loves and its short( 15 episodes technically), so itd be done and dusted quick
