Red Dwarf Season 8 Episode 7 Pete Part 2

Comments

Series 8 could've been a lot better without 'Pete' Part's One and Two. Defo the weakest; it could've been tighter and less hated all around.

Nell Sun

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by series X.

Philip

He's famous in America too as the voice of the Geico Gecko (or was, until a pay dispute)

Scott Brown

Seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6 definitely hold up and maybe 7... What does that mean anyway because most new TV comedy shows are shockingly bad!

BigChanChan

You know you've seen KillCrazy before, He was the teenage trainee who got Rodney's job when he resigned ("You know that data that was on your screen, it's on mine now."), and one of the teenagers who tried to help when they thought Mr Meldrew was having a heart attack in the last episode of One Foot in the Gave you watched. For the last 20 or so years he's been in Eastenders.

Danny

not a fan of series 8, so far in the season krytie TV was the best episode ( saying so far so i dont spoil any expectations )

Good old back to earth...a series so bad it has literally been scrubbed from the Internet everywhere you can stream red dwarf has a surprising lack of that one series. But seriously..when dave took over production i loved it

Jason

I think that Back to Earth establishes the time jump well enough, with its opening text of "9 years later..."

How much do we need to mention about the gap between the last episode of the original run and the recent run set afterwards? not a spoiler in the slightest but certain aspects will need clarifying for Josh's sake

Adam C Turek

Yeah but next week is the season finale which is excellent, then we move onto series 9 back to earth, which I was never really able to watch, series 10 and onwards awsome and hilarious. These two are also my low point but we get stability and familiarity back :)

Mike Doel

Wow. It literally only took you five minutes of the post going up, to share your usual dislike for a Series 8 Red Dwarf episode. Must be a record.... A broken record that just repeats over, and over, and over.....

Jay

HACK THE PLANET!!!!!!! Yeah these two are probably the low point of all of Red Dwarf. Lots of great stuff to come though, bud :) Back to Earth is next, so if you're unfamiliar with the UK soap "Coronation Street" you might want to check out a few short clips or something. Snoop Dogg is infamous for being in love with one of the characters, Deirdre Barlow

Wagoo

For my money, this episode contains the single lowest ebb that Red Dwarf ever reached; the egg on legs. It's the most pertinent example of the children's TV style which pervaded throughout series VIII. It's like something straight out of ChuckleVision.
