Ah Josh ever since I discovered your channel a year ago you’ve kept me full of laughter and enjoyment re-watching them with you. My dad shockingly passed away this week and Only Fools was his favourite. You continue to cheer me up and bring comfort even though I don’t know you. Thank you man x

As the characters got older, I guess they had to involve partners and now, perhaps, a baby. Which all changes the dynamic of the show. I think that’s why there’s more of a story arc now, than self contained funny episodes with twists at the end. It’s nice to spend time with the characters, and there’s plenty of funny moments to come, but I personally think we’ve passed the very best years, just purely because the show had to evolve and move away from the Writer’s original concept. Probably why Two and a half men was never quite as good after one of the brothers left the show, despite having a lot of the same writers.

Raquel was such a great addition as she doesn't get in the way of the dynamic, she adds to it. However Cassandra is such a boring character that has just taken Rodney away and made him depressed. So the whole show doesn't feel right as a result. I hope they resolve their issues sooner rather than later..... I forgot what happens so it'll be a pleasant surprise if they do.

As always that was another great reaction for a great episode!! Rodney just cannot catch a break 🤭

Did anyone else always feel that it was a bit weird for Alan to just accept Rodney's resignation just like that? Without talking to him about it? He is family after all. I guess they needed it to happen for the show's sake but I always found it odd behaviour from a man who had previously been shown as caring and thoughtful!

George Michael and Andrew Ridgley made up the popular group Wham! in the 80s, George wrote the music and then went on to have a lot of solo success anyway so the joke was basically he never needed Andrew
