Alternate Rimmer's music was perfect it sounds like (take my breath away) lol. Poor Rimmer, out of a thousand alternate universes he's still the crappiest version of himself. They did a great job making his alternate a perfect opposite of our Rimmer. Confident, brave, selfless, intelligent, loved by all, desired by men and women, and at the top of his field. I love how pissed Holly was when she saw Rimmer was awake lmao. This was another great episode, I really enjoyed it a lot.

2021-04-21 22:37:21 +0000 UTCAce Rimmer came about because Chris Barrie wanted to play something other than an annoying coward all the time. He probably said it as a jest but i think he loved playing Ace all the same. I think series 4 is where Chris Barrie and Craig Charles (Lister) started to become better friends, apparently early on they didn't always get along. Mostly down to them both just being very different people and i can imagine having very different work ethics. But by this point in the show they grew to respect each others differences, especially for the good of the show which by this point was a big hit.

Rimmer having tried to have Ace as his nickname previously in the series and Lister's sons being called Jim and Bexley and various other things throughout the show.
