I was really surprised to see Dobby . I thought she would still be pissed at Mark. I guess she gets over stuff pretty fast. When Sophie said "Yeah... Of course, obviously, it would be really great if you were happy, but it's not the most pressing thing." I was like cold blooded . She crushed that dudes little dream in a seconds lol. I can see where Sophie is coming from , it might not be the right time to try your hand in a new field when you have kid on the way . It was cool that Dobby actually cares about Marks happiness and tried to help him get a job that would make him happy. I was surprised Sophie took back what she said and told Mark she wants him to be happy . I don't dislike Sophie she just has problems and everyone has problems . Dobby probably has a few that haven't surface yet who knows .

2021-02-21 14:30:27 +0000 UTCI hadn't noticed until watching this reaction that Sophie did mellow a bit from S6 onwards, having been quite manipulative in the first five series. Also, thinking about it, Dobby is almost like Mark's Big Suze, giving him far more chances with her than he probably deserves and him basically blowing each one of them through sheer stupidity and cowardice. This is one of those episodes where you see Jeremy's vulnerable side really come to the fore, and he becomes more of a sad character. In a lot of ways Elena is like a second coming of Nancy, stringing him along because she likes the attention she gets and the power she wields over him, and Jeremy being the only one oblivious to the fact that she doesn't actually care about him very much. This becomes a lot clearer in the next few episodes.

2021-02-20 21:21:06 +0000 UTCWhat I love about Peep Show is how much you come to know and love Mark and Jez over the seasons, the comedy I think stays pretty much the same level throughout. But you laugh more and more as the show goes on as you connect with them more, despite their many flaws.
