This was a really good episode, it lived up to the hype for sure . The hang glider scene was the best part . There were a a lot of little joke peppered thought out that were pretty good too. Del coming back with a full meal spread and Rodney only having cheese , Del leaving Rodney under the sun bed to long and all the jokes about his red face lol. This was a great episode I really enjoyed .

2021-03-03 19:36:17 +0000 UTCBtw when Uncle Albert gets up to sing the song for Ada, the actual song isn't saying 'Ada' at all, it's 'Hey There' lol he just seems to think it's Ada. Also, when Del says Lisa will be having Welsh rarebit (also called Welsh rabbit) he meant because of the cheese Rodney bought. Welsh rarebit is basically a cheese sauce on toast.

Most of the episodes that were edited for whatever reason on video and DVD have been restored on all the various streaming platforms, thankfully. There are two I know of that haven't, "Yuppy Love" and "A Royal Flush".

2021-02-20 12:03:01 +0000 UTCThe energy of the show really picks up from here. You’ve sat through most of the slow burn episodes at this stage. The, “who wants to be a millionaire” episode is kind of a slow burn but with decent morals. The show does get into full swing from now on.

I recorded the original broadcast, but it's been well over 10 years since I saw that, and I got rid of most of my videos when I moved a few years back, regrettably. I have to say, I'm not looking forward to the "A Royal Flush" reaction. I find the available version unwatchable. I managed to get it uncut on DVD from eBay the other week.

2021-02-20 02:24:26 +0000 UTCThere are so many funny moments in this episode :D You probably already know this by now, Josh, but it's worth saying just in case.. some parts of Britain call the evening meal our 'tea' (as well as the drink) where I'm from we say breakfast, dinner and tea. Some places say breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's why in lots of the things you watch they sometimes mention having tea, and they're shown to be eating a meal rather than drinking tea. Sorry if you already knew lol.

2021-02-19 23:36:07 +0000 UTCAs an accomplished hang glider in real life David Jason (Del Boy) assumed when he read the script that he would actually be the one doing the hang gliding on camera however due to insurance reasons the BBC (somewhat understandably) balked at this and insisted on using a stuntman instead despite Davids real life expertise in the hobby.
