Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a good episode, I am still unsure as to why it's not available here in the states. I looked Dynasty up, it's an American show over 200 episodes and I have never heard of it. Most likely because it's a drama, I have never gotten into dramas. I really look forward to next week's episode, quite a few of you have said how good it is.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Comments

Is it tea time yet?

Keith Pratt

Interesting man thanks for that info =]

After Work Reactions

Agreed, it is different now that he is gone but I am still enjoying it a whole lot.

After Work Reactions

That is awesome bud! I am really enjoying this show =]

Open All Hours was good, but definitely not Still Open All Hours, that’s just turned into a version of Last of the Summer Wine, it’s still watchable but it does highlight how much input Ronnie Barker must have had in the original show, to make it what it was.

Gary Tamblyn

Can you get to view Open All Hours? If so, be great to see it listed in a future poll 😎😎😎 only because I know you’ll enjoy it. Stars Ronnie Barker and David Jason

Justyn

ITunes has restored a lot of the original music as they payed the rights, the BBC have all original episodes uncut but refuse to release a full uncut collection. Only fools fans think that many episodes are uncut but they are and many have never seen the full uncut episodes. The worst cuts happen to a feature length episode called " A royal flush" and depending on the source it can have up to 20 minutes missing from it, "Dates" and " jolly boys outing" suffer huge cuts also depending on source. Thankfully there are fans out there who have restored every episode to near full version using original dvds from first release, streaming services and old VHS copies and these are the only true episodes including the missing episodes and TV skits episodes.

NEXUS

Great reaction. As others have said, the next is a classic and the series really develops from here. I love all the grandad episodes too but it's just different from here on in.

Joe Gardiner

In my opinion it's around this season where the show shifts from being merely good to being amazing. That's probably got something to do with the episodes getting longer, but they also started to focus more on character development too.

antlermagick

Oh man it is hard to pick I like them all for different reasons. I do really love OFaH, Peep Show and Inbetweeners though.

After Work Reactions

LOL it is a great show so I don't blame you.

After Work Reactions

What an awesome way to find a show =]

After Work Reactions

Awesome thanks bud!

After Work Reactions

Thanks man I am looking forward to it!

After Work Reactions

Oh ok, thanks for the info bud!

After Work Reactions

Thanks bud I was happy to find it so I could check it out.

After Work Reactions

Thanks bud I was happy to find it.

After Work Reactions

Peep Show and Inbetweeners too, in fact, without channel 4 we may not be here chatting at all or never got to meet J&T.

crispey bear

The religious element and the mention of del being a prophet is probably enough for this episode to not be shown

grandtheftadmin

Channel 4 was a relatively new channel back then, and was seen as a kind of upstart network not to be taken seriously. An idea that hasn't entirely disappeared. I have mixed feelings on Channel 4 regarding a lot of their content, but they've distributed some belting comedies....Notably Father Ted and the IT Crowd, so we have a lot to thank them for!

ALW

I wonder if the low key reference to Jimmy Saville had any impact, 10m40s in.

𝙶𝚊𝚛𝚢 𝙼𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚊𝚗

Next episode is an absolute cracker with a real iconic moment. Then you have two really great episodes, and then 3 absolutely belting specials, from then on the episodes become 50 minute long minimum. And also from those specials and season 6 onwards, you will really get to know why Only Fools is known such a classic, and often cited as the best of British sitcoms. I can't wait to follow this journey with you bro

Sam Dilks

Which episode is it next week?

Logan Jukes

Along with Dallas.

Rob Thompson

The whole problem you had with this episode is probably down to the music rights like a lot of episodes, the scene where Del and the Vicar look at the statue and the music kicks in, that music you heard was not the true original music as the BBC didn't renew music rights to so many episodes. This ruins parts of so many episodes and causes huge cuts in some episodes. I just hope the episodes you view don't have these abysmal cuts or replacement music.

NEXUS

Not the greatest episode but still very good. The next episode is absolutely hilarious.

Christopher Horner

I saw that, someone literally wrote the plotlines from an episode in the comment, it wasn't even a subtle spoiler!

antlermagick

This was the first episode I ever watched. It was on a DVD that came free with a newspaper when I was about five. Now I'm nearly 22 and I've been a lifelong fan ever since!

antlermagick

I love this episode - I say that about most but I do love this one haha

Justyn

Yes, came to point this out. The sailor from Blackadder. And then Squirry the Squirrel went neep neep neep...

Ryan Lynch

No, it's the music from the VHS/DVD version.

Keith Pratt

The Actor who played Biffo was in Blackadder II. He was the sailor who asked, "How much do you charge for good hard shag?"

Keith Pratt

"Where's my trumpet? And how much for a good, hard shag?"

Dave P

Dynasty was a big American Soap/Drama Show based in Texas. Was massive in the early to mid 80's in the UK.

Publico

Might be the weakest episode in the whole series for me, still decent though

Joe S

Yeah, from what I remember, next weeks episode is an absolute belter! Can’t wait

AWR93

Hey Josh was just wondering if all the British shows you have watched so far do you have a favourite

Stu 79

It’s a brilliant episode that one, looking forward to next Friday. 🙂

Gary Tamblyn

Can’t wait till next week my all time favourite episode tea for three awesome

Jon Young

I'll watch this in a bit. Josh, I hope you've not been spoiled by some of the comments on your latest YouTube upload.

Keith Pratt

It's the 1989 Christmas Special, comes right after series 6.

Keith Pratt

Is that the original music when Del sees the tear?

Mr K

The journalist from NBC interviewing Del Boy was Carol Cleveland, A.K.A the Monty Python team’s go to girl and official ‘Seventh Python’.

Daniel Davies

I can’t wait for you to watch the jolly boys outing 😁 my favourite ep of ofnh, anyone know what season series special it was?

Sam Ringland

Glad you got to do this episode Josh. It’s another good episode, not with my favourites but that’s a high standard to set and I generally love every episode of Only fools. Where did you manage to find it? And yes, you’ll love next weeks one

Teddy Alison

I'm so glad you could do this one
