Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Fantastic start to the first episode of this show. This was such a goofy, random funny episode. I hope the people who have never seen this enjoy it as much as I did. This dude played like 6 or 7 people in this lol. I won't sit here and list off all of my favorite scenes. I will just end this by saying this was hilarious and I look forward to watching the rest.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Happy you enjoyed it bud!A

After Work Reactions

It is for sure a crazy show so far but I loved it =]

After Work Reactions

That is a bummer that it is so short.

After Work Reactions

It is :)

Tom Tucker

Is that Mr Reynholm?

Lee

Isn't it technically not legal any more? "We only drag a dead fox around for the scent, wink wink."

Z is for Zed

Fox hunting is however, not a joke in this one. It's real and very rich posh people go out and hunt foxes for fun. Seems to be a good movement of saboteurs here in the UK though who save the foxes before the dogs can rip them to shreds

Michael

I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before as it’s exactly the type of comedy I love. Hilarious

Teddy Alison

Yeah for sure, this is essentially series 2 of TDT and if anything TDT is even funnier than is, so no reason not to watch it.

Alexander Bond

The Day Today next please!

Gareth Jones

I vaguely remember watching this show originally and honestly thought i wouldn't like it and there would just be the odd funny moment but it was totally bonkers and I loved it.

BigChanChan

You'd have to be pretty stupid as well to be in on a joke that makes you look stupid lol.

BigChanChan

Fantastic line. Can't believe Josh didn't laugh at all at that point!

Manly Stump

The twisted brainwrong of a one-off manmental. Great line. Can't wait for more of this.

Ian Webster

Glad to see that Brass Eye still holds up. Shame it was only 7 episodes.

Watched this when it first came out and I was only 10. Probably why I'm so messed up now :D you've probably already heard this but Chris Morris, the main guy in this show, wrote and directed Four Lions. Looking forward to re-watching this awesome show with you dude :)

Danny Casey-Tancock

This was so good! 😂 after a shite day it was just what I needed. Can't wait till next week, I'm tempted to binge them lol.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Great stuff, might I recommend the Armando Iannucci shows for another short series further down the line

Kieran B

I never actually watched these.....I know of them and had seen clips, but this the first time proper. Good start...ridiculous and funny. I just love how they get clueless celebrities that will do and say ANYTHING if it puts them in a good light.

Hannah

Wish I'd seen this back when it came out, this is great! I love this kind of bizarre and ridiculous stuff.

Saillune

With you watching Brass Eye and Phoenix Nights you will need to know the meaning of the term 'nonce' which is slang for a paedophile, if you didn't now already. Loving the new choices and movies

Ronnie Hotdog

Very excited for this one

Ross Hardman

He was the guy calling the cow an idiot!

Alex P

Did you recognise him As the original boss from IT crowd?

Fred bates

Did you spot Alan's PA Lynn at the dinner party at the beginning?

Manly Stump

Who was Mark Heap playing in this one? I must must have missed him.

Ryan Lynch

Guy who wrote the show also wrote Four Lions.

Ash2

Great series

Justyn

Richard Herring would disagree.. He wrote the very first Alan Partridge script, but nowadays he's relegated to PodcastLand. <iframe frameborder="no" height="166" scrolling="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/175601916&color=ff0000&hide_related=true&show_comments=false&show_teaser=false" width="100%"></iframe>British Comedy Guide · Richard Herring&#x27;s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast - Episode 50 - Steve Coogan

Tony Smyth

Glad you liked! One of my all time favourites was ecstatic it won!

lemmy101

PS. Write that down Lynn....

Tony Smyth

Great reaction Josh! Such a hilarious show and one I haven't seen in such a long time! I found myself laughing all the way through. The only "celebrity" I can't imagine wasn't in on it was Carla Lane. I'm a fan of hers as a writer, she's a fairly bright cookie, she must know who Chris Morris is (although admittedly he hadn't been around for ages at this point), and also I know she's a pretty shy character who never appears in interviews. I can only imagine she'd even have appeared as part of the act / show. She's also not really entirely herself here. Everyone else? Maybe. Most others? Quite possibly. But I think Carla was in on the joke. Very glad you're watching this though! It's a scream! 😁

Ash Jeffries

I hadn't seen this episode in a long time, and forgot how funny it was, and this is probably one of the weaker episodes even though it's still very good. Drugs and Paedogeddon were real highlights of Brass Eye for me. A few of the celebrities who got caught out by this were quite upset at being made to look silly. Paul Daniels held a real grudge against Chris Morris for years afterwards over it.

Charlie

Josh can you react to this from "Jam" (Chris Morris' black comedy sketch show) on Youtube. Only 3 mins long but the kinda goofy thing I think you'll love https://youtu.be/YNmZ8bqkXvw

Steve King

There's some British/Irish comedy royalty involved in this. Peter Baynham (co-creator of Alan Partridge and scriptwriter for Borat) and Graeme Linehan/Arthur Mathews (creators of Father Ted) all contributed. Chris Morris of course heads it up so well. He also writes a lot of the music in his shows.

Dave P

Brass Eye Monday sounds a bit like Brass Eyed Monkey, which is an euphemism for someone who ends up with a cock like a jockey's bollocks due to excessive masturbation. But that's just my opinion. I'm just excited at the imminent introduction to a young Alan Partridge. [EDIT] Sorry, I was thinking of The Day Today, which would be a perfect candidate for future Mondays.

Tony Smyth

Really glad you enjoyed it so much, and the best thing about Brass Eye is that the last episode is the best!

Joe Gardiner

Th next episode, "Drugs", is probably the best episode of the series outside the controversial special

Steve King

So happy you're finally reacting to Brass Eye and glad you like it. The whole series is great but I especially can't wait for episode 7.

Lawson Briggs

Yeah, same bloke. Also did Blue Jam on the radio which is about as dark as it gets! Good music too.

Scott Brown

Is this the guy who did Jam? I didn't really find this episode funny, there are some standout ones, but this isn't one of them.

Honestly there's a joke every 5 seconds in this show

Samuel Coghlan-White

The only thing I've looked forward to MORE than this is tomorrow's Impeachment trial. Press that PLAY button Baby...
