What a goofy episode lol! This was hilarious, I love how Mark tried to say old-style pedoing wasn't that bad. Jeremy and SuperHans are so bogus stealing that kid music and getting him to go down on one of them. When he chose SuperHans over Jez I love how disappointed Jez was. Mark Boasting about fooling Sophie and Jeff because they thought it was pee on his pants but it was actually jizz cracked me up. Marked missing his chance to get laid and being blamed for everything was a fantastic ending to this episode.

2021-01-05 05:20:37 +0000 UTCI’m 99% sure I read somewhere that the writers were mates with dyer and wrote the role for him just like they wrote the roles of mark and jez for Mitchell and Webb. I’m not English and had never heard of him, I since saw him in some doco he was hosting. I’m glad they didn’t go with Russell brand - I’m a fan of his but I don’t think it would of been good having someone well know in the role. Also he prolly would of had a brake down half way through the show or fucked off to america. The way Matt king says the lines like “this crack is really moorish” or “we promise, promise to keep her restrained, tightly tied” is example of how good he is for role. Yes the writing makes the character for sure, but like most casting in this he really works wel and has good chemistry with the leads.

2021-01-04 05:00:58 +0000 UTCRe Super Hanns character : I believe that the writers wrote it with a English cockney guy called Danny Dyer in mind for the role. Also Russell Brand auditioned for the role. In the end Matt King got it ( obviously ) and I’m glad they went that way.

There's only one series but they have just filmed the 2nd series after a long gap and that should be available soon too. We'll worth a watch.

2021-01-03 17:13:11 +0000 UTCJeremy and Super Hans' treatment of Barney is pretty much how the music industry actually treats artists, with dodgy exploitative contracts and sucking off. It almost refers back to Hans' (not inaccurate) rant about the workings of the industry in S1E1, "It's not who you know, it's who you blow." It's funny how they both consider themselves anti-establishment free thinkers, and yet in this episode they basically became a couple of suits. It also features one of Hans' trademark weird insights that are sort of grounded in truth and reality; Bowie, Iggy and Lou Reed probably were all sucking each other off.

2021-01-03 02:57:01 +0000 UTCPeep show really is the best comedy show in the last 40 yrs. stands the test of time. I remember early 2000’s a mate had a dvd of the first series and we would get high and watch it and it was like nothing we ever seen. Laughed our ass’ off.
