Two amazing episodes back to back. it's hard to say which episode was better this one or the previous episode so for now I will say it's a tie. I love how happy, excited, and angry Mark was when Jez told him he snogged Sophie. I have never heard anyone hurl insults, and compliments while expressing gratification and disdain all at once it was great lol. Both of them crying at the alter was definitely hilarious and watching Sophie's dad pelting Mark with rice was fantastic lol. I love that the episode ended with Jez and Mark riding home together leaving their problems behind. She probably wanted Mark to make some effort to save their wedding day and new marriage or heck maybe she did want him to just leave who knows. She did cry the whole time and called him horrible, maybe the best thing to do was leave. Great episode, I look forward to the next season.

2020-12-20 00:11:49 +0000 UTCRespectfully disagree. 4, 5 and 7 are probably my favourite series, personally. I think all 3 are consistently fantastic. However, I do agree that this would have probably been the neatest ending. Mark and Sophie's relationship has been building since episode 1, so ending on their failed wedding day would have made sense, but there's so many great episodes that never would have happened if they'd finished here, so I can't say I wish it'd happened.

Just been watching a repeat of another modern classic UK sitcom, Gavin and Stacy. Think you'd really like that. Lots of Brit centric references but still loads of laughs.

2020-12-19 23:52:12 +0000 UTCThis is the one I was waiting for! Mark is the only person on the planet who'd get married out of embarrassment. I like that they didn't really go for massive laughs, instead peppering them among the growing tension over whether he'd will actually go through with it, although seeing Jeremy begrudgingly piss himself is a high point. There are still some great episodes coming as well. Great work as always Josh, hope you have a good Christmas!
