Spoiler Free:  The end of this episode cracked me up.

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This episode was a bit of a slow burn with funny moments peppered in here and there but really took off at the end . The best moments were him getting pissed when Susan said her fiancé purchased her perfume and Michael teaching him terrorist's training . The end was fantastic , I love the crazy dude he really cracked me up . I was wondering what insane thing he was going to do as soon as he introduced himself to Alan.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

One of the Irish guys in this doing the interview, tall one with Black hair, he's Graham Linehan. He wrote Black Books, Father Ted, and IT Crowd. It's cool that there's a crossover

Sadbnnuy

I love this one!!

Kate

Yes correct! Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews!

David Jones

LOL agreed.

After Work Reactions

So creepy and funny !!!

Andrew Manford

Funniest one so far. You mentalist!

Hannah

I think the two Irish guys are the writers of Father Ted. I could be wrong though and i can't be bothered googling just yet!!

Hannah

Great episode, haven't seen most of these before - so it is even funnier.

Faisal Ramzan

the fan with all the posters was based off a story told by another British comedian Stewart Lee, where he spent the night at a fans house after a gig but got there to find posters of him. Recently it was cleared up as the fan became a famous musician and explained he had justthe one poster of him as well as other comedians and bands, like you do when yo're a student. Also notice the camera crew and sound guy in the reflection of the car when Alan drives off? so blatant i'm surprised they kept it in

Adam C Turek

LOL the mask was creepy lol

After Work Reactions

Funny when the Irish guy said it's only 49 quid on a plane back then - it's only about £20 return these days.

Jon Johnson

LOL this show is goofy I love it

After Work Reactions

Oh wow very interesting. Thanks for the info bud.

After Work Reactions

Probably my favourite episode of the first series. Jed is one of the most disturbing creations in a comedy show. Plus when he puts that mask on, he looks like something out of the horror video game Manhunt... don’t know why.

spaceodds1985

I'd have to disagree. Wasn't you talking shit like 3 weeks in a row in the comments? I Might be mistaken.

Michael

Ok so the old show was funny, I just remember each time he tries to bing back the character and it isn't funny.

'You're a mentalist' just love it🤣🤣

Claire Prowse

Who also played the guy with the voice box in the episode with the farmers

Manly Stump

Simon Pegg initially auditioned for the part of Jed Maxwell, but didn't get it.

Dave P

And the guy with the blond hair is Arthur Mathews, co writer of Father Ted and Toast of London.

Dave P

Irish guy with the darker hair is graham linehan, writer of father ted and it crowd

Chris F

The Robert Maxwell joke is a reference to the newspaper mogul Robert Maxwell, who died in mysterious circumstances shortly before it emerged he had stolen millions from his company's pension fund. His daughter is now even more notorious than him... Also, look carefully during An Afternoon With Alan Partridge and you'll see Ben and Sophie in the audience.

Charlie

Pointless trivia but both videos you posted today, Borat and Partridge were both written by Peter Baynham .
