This was a really good episode and there were a lot of funny moments. The ending was fantastic, not just the dead bird bit but Del ending it with him getting the last laugh. Del always finds a way to show he is the best hustler around lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Only Fools And Horses Season 3 Episode 7 Who's a Pretty Boy ?

Denzel and Mike join the cast. This is where things start getting really good, adding to Trigger and Boycie.

I am enjoying it a lot so far I have been hearing though it picks up in the next season and gets even better. Take care bud.

I do like these early series and there are some good episodes but it's a slow burn - even in the UK when it was first aired it wasn't taken too straight away. OFAH really gets going when it moves to the 50min episodes (and feature length specials) the longer episodes give John Sullivan's writing a chance to really shine. It's good your starting from the beginning as you get to know all the characters.

David Harman

It's all good! I do really like Grandad he is a great character.

Oh ok thanks for the info!

After Work Reactions

When I first saw this episode I was certain that the Italian guys bird would say racial slurs

Caine

I cheated and copied off of Google. Anyways the 1st of many appearances of Mike! Grandad really was better than Uncle Albert who i grew up watching.

It's a nautical saying. When cannon were loaded a small amount of powder was poured into the ignition hole near the base of the weapon. In order to keep the powder secure before firing, a crew member pushed one of their fingers into the hole. When the time came for ignition, the crewman was told to pull his finger out.

LOL hilarious =]

Thanks man, I am really enjoying this show a whole lot. It has really great heartfelt moments but also many hilarious ones as well. I can see why it went on so long.

One of my favourite episodes from the Granddad Years and your reaction to the line, "Yeah I know that, but when I woke up this morning, he was dead!" was everything I hoped it would be, Josh! Haha! The next episode, essentially the 1983 Christmas special, but actually a standard 30-minute episode "Thicker than Water" is probably my favourite series 3 episode. I can't wait for you to see it! :-)

I'd forgotten how late Denzil and Mike were introduced into OFAH. Good episode. I like the next one too. Pull your finger out means 'get on with it' it's something you'd be more likely say if someone's messing about or putting off what they're supposed to be doing. Thanks for the reaction Josh.

Only Fools and Horses is one of if not the best british comedy of all time considering how many episodes there are. They get better and better believe me! Not sure if its been mentioned in any of the comments before but watch out for whenever Del is ordering a drink in a bar, everyone is always a different & normally quite a disgusting concoction, A Bailey’s and Cherryade was one of my favourites 😂

Scott Williamson

This is definitely a middle of the road episode for only fools, not amazingly detailed not bad either just MOR

Alex Prince

Out of all of the shows that you have watched and you are watching and I can guarantee you you will become the most Emotionally attached to the characters in only fools and horses as you watch the age and change over this season's you really get to know them and grow to love them.

Love this episode reaction Josh! Now that we are one episode away from series 4, I’d like to know what your top 3 episodes are that you’ve watched so far in the first 3 series’?

AWR93

Enjoyed this one, stellar reaction as always. The term “gets his finger out” is generally used for when someone is going slow at a task or being generally lazy. Also he referred to the canary as a pretty boy when he first seen it at Denzel’s flat.

Peter

Unfortunately this will be the last you ever see of the Corrine character for though she was intended to be a permanent reoccurring character (along with Denzil) the actress who played her sadly passed away due to suicide after this episode was filmed. RIP Eva Mottley. (Post has been edited to amend a factual error)

King Bloo

Can’t wait until season 4 onwards, I adore the latter half of the series!! Great reactions as always !

Sam Owen

Great watching these with someone who hasn't seen these before. When will the bottom live shows be out? Keep ut up

Austyn Shaw

Del’s circle of friends is now complete, now that Denzil and Mike are introduced. Originally, when John Sullivan began thinking of introducing women as regulars to the show, he had planned for Corrine to be part of it, but sadly, Eva Mottley committed suicide in 1985, so Corrine was relegated to being the unseen force in Denzil’s life.

Daniel Davies

I like rewatching these earlier episodes. Aside from being funny they establish the back stories of characters that become more prominent later in the series. This is where you learn Denzel is a great guy, which he proves later in Danger UXD and Jolly Boys. I loved how they grew the background characters to the point where it was like one big family.
