Spoiler Free:  This was a really good episode, One more episode and we start season 3 and I finally get to watch the episode I have been waiting for 03X01.

Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This is random but it was cool that the last episode of Bottom I watched took place in one location the Ferris wheel and Father Ted took place on a place. Honestly, the best part of this episode was father Jack stealing both parachutes to save himself and the liquor lol. I really like the part when the priest suggested they all pray to God to save them and no one believed it would work. I wasn't sure when they made the joke about the deaf guy listening to Mr. Bean. From what I have seen Mr. Bean only makes weird noises, are they trying to say the priest can understand Mr. Bean? Because they can all understand that weird grunting priest?

Thanks for watching folks !!!

Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

LOL Makes sense.

After Work Reactions

I think they just had the guy watching Mr. Bean to explain why he was laughing (because he was watching comedy, not throwing things at Ted). I don't think Mr. Bean has any significance itself, he could have just said "I'm watching Monty Python" or whatever.

C Dread

Agreed so far I have not watched one that I did not like. They are both so hilarious I love it. Thanks bro stay safe =]

After Work Reactions

I don't think there is a bad episode of Father Ted or the IT crowd. Great writing and you really get to love the characters from the start.

Faisal Ramzan

This episode is probably in my top 3. I love how Graham Linehan the writer of the show and also IT Crowd and Black Books comes in with the best line "Shouldn't we all just have a bit of an old pray? Maybe God will....." always cracks me up when they all look away awkwardly. I also love how this epidode focuses on Ted.

Ed

Completely useless piece of information: The actor playing the Pilot has featured in some big Hollywood blockbusters, he was Dennis Hoppers right hand man in Waterworld and he was the Judge in Batman Begins that proceeds over the Waynes Murder Trial and again in the restaurant when Bruce is threatened at gun point by Falcone.

Adam C Turek

Why do you call him "the really annoying priest"? Is it because he keeps on repeating himself? Why do you call him "the really annoying priest"? He IS probably annoying but he's not a real priest. Why do you call him "the really annoying priest". A lot of REAL priests have done much more annoying things you know. Why do you call him "the really annoying priest"?

Tony Smyth

Looking forward to it bro =]

After Work Reactions

Did you recognise Graham Norton as the really annoying priest

Fred bates

Don't forget christmassy Ted there is a episode in between 2 of the series I think it's in between this one and the next 1 it's a really good episode

Fred bates

Also, to my best recollection, the Christmas episode wasn't placed anywhere specific chronologically-speaking, so you can enjoy the racist episode and all of series 3 first without worrying that you've missed anything :)

Jake Snow

Definitely can't miss the Christmas episode, it's pure genius from start to finish! And yes, the time draws near... The great thing is the clip you saw was only the tip of the hilarity iceberg!

Jake Snow

@ The Jonin Cactuar... Let us put our hands together and pray ourselves the fuck out of this bollixology

Tony Smyth

Getting so close to my all time favourite episode now, Speed 3. Hands down the funniest episode of them all. Kills me to this day

Relyx

Yes there is a feature length Christmas special in between season 2 and 3 can’t miss that

Alex Prince

Bit more info for you Josh. The book that Ted's reading is about a TV personality from the 90's. Michael Barrymore was probably the most recognised gameshow hosts on TV. He came out in the mid 90's, which was all over the papers. That'll be what they're referring to with the "Have you got to the bit where...." Here's the crazy thing though, a few years after that, Barrymore's career imploded when a party at his place went wrong and a guy mysteriously drowned in his pool. To this day nobody knows how the guy died but Barrymore's career never recovered. As for the Mr Bean joke, I think the entire joke is that you can't listen to a Mr Bean audiobook BECAUSE it's just grunts and sight gags. I think they're just messing. Oh, and the guy who suggests they all pray - that's Graham Linehan, the writer of this show and the IT Crowd. Currently torpedoing his own career with anti-trans rants on Twitter, which is pretty sad in itself.

Ian Webster

Thank you for this. I watched Father Ted when it first aired on BBC America and never knew a Christmas special was out there. I can't wait to watch an unseen Father ted.

Bob K

This episode gets funnier the more times you watch it. It's a fantastic take on the Catholic Church, from an Irish perspective. I don't know about you but I'm going to watch it again.

Tony Smyth

Rock on Big J! Smokin', rockin' and ruling the reactions, and making it all look easy at the same time. Double Love from Dublin. And remember, you don't have to be from Ireland to be Irish, but it helps.

Tony Smyth

Looking forward to you reacting to the next one 😂 I’m still waiting for the guess the weight of Pa Scanlon reaction.. I know your a busy man so I haven’t reminded you since but I’m looking forward to it whenever you get around to it

Liam Corbett

There is the Christmas special between this episode and season 3. The bit where the priest played by Graham Linehan says "Why don't we have an old pray, maybe god will help us....." while the other priests and the nuns look away in embarrassment gets me every time.
