A woman sits in a coffee shop with a large cup of an extra dark roast sitting on the table in front of her. She's reading a book, mumbling words that seem to confuse her so they're easier to understand. She takes a sip of her tea, she flips a page, she takes another sip. She looks around the cafe, scans the people around her, calls a waiter; she continues to read. As the waiter walks to her window view seat, she places a finger between the pages of her book, closes the cover with her other hand; she watches her waiter approach. The waiter asks how he can assist her, & if her coffee is to her liking. She smiles and states her order is excellent, but that she would like to know what pastries are in house. The waiter lists off the specials, & recommends his favorite; the woman agrees & she continues reading. The waiter returns with her order; she sips her coffee, eats her pastry, and reads. Some time goes by, she asks for her bill, she takes out three bills from her pocket purse, places them on the table, gathers her things, gets up, and leaves.
