Upcoming changes
Added 2018-08-18 11:39:00 +0000 UTCHey guys, want to take a moment and let you in on some planned changes for this patreon in the following month ahead of time.
First, recently patreon made the pay upfront option available and I do intend on making use of it. I intend to change to the pay upfront method at the beginning of the next month (September) and if you are here because you do want to support what I do, then this change should not affect you at all.
Second important thing I want to cover is the introduction of a new reward tier. Now this is an experimental next step, and the way its handled will vary from month to month, keep that in mind. To elaborate further on the idea, those who pledge to this tier will be able to submit either pic ideas for a poll (all other patrons will vote on), pitch anonymous ideas for me to pick from, vote on extra polls for sketch finishing, or any other thing that comes to mind. Any participation that requires you to pitch an idea will be announced before hand so you have time to prepare. So the reward for this tier would be 1 sketch per month based on some system of elimination that does not include a raffle, and participation in additional polls for other miscellaneous things that can come.
Now the bad news is that I will have to get rid of the hilarious goof tiers to make room for this new one. : ( farewell 5000$ tier rip in peace

No ye, the price would remain constant as the reward, its the method through which you participate in order to get this reward that changes. I won't be deleting the tier in question, just make a post explaning the way it will work each time it changes at least a couple of days earlier so people can decide if they want to try it.

Changing prices, I believe, deletes the old tier, puts the affected patron on the invisible "No thanks, I just want to support" tier, and keeps them paying the same amount of money as their old reward tier cost. As an added bonus, Patreon does not inform the patron that their tier has been deleted and that they will no longer be receiving rewards. The only way to inform them that this has happened is for the Patreon creator to send a message directly to them, or to all followers...
